We are always excited to work with our partners both to discover ways to advance the profile of your company and to add the vibrancy, interest and diversity that your participation brings to French Festival.

Akaroa French Festival is unique and therefore offers visitors an experience that cannot be replicated in other destinations. We believe that the Festival offers a significant opportunity for our Partners to share their story and to showcase your company and products within the Banks Peninsula and the wider Christchurch region. We have proudly grown from a small, community event; today we enjoy phenomenal success and strong recognition in the greater Christchurch area as well as New Zealand wide and expect between 6000 and 8000 visitors over the weekend.

The programme for the 2026 festival will be more French than ever before. With live theatrical and musical performances, French-inspired markets, an antiques fair, and roving entertainment, we aim to give visitors a fantastic and memorable experience as they explore the historic French influences unique to Akaroa.

There are many ways in which a partnership with us enables you to leverage your funding investment. These range from having a physical presence at the event to the inclusion of your company in our marketing media.

♦ purchase a named, 8-seater Le Cabaret table for $2400 or two seats for $600 – enjoy a ringside view to this premier, sold out, gold star event with one bottle of French champagne per two seats and a delicious and plentiful local supper platter.

♦ We’d love to talk to you about your name at the top of the French Festival banner! Festival naming rights are $50,000.
